What Is a Sewer Scope Inspection?
A sewer scope inspection is a video inspection of the main sewer lateral—the pipeline that connects your home’s plumbing to the city’s main sewer system. We use a specialized high-resolution camera inserted through a cleanout or drain to examine the full length of the line for damage, clogs, and deterioration.
Our inspections reveal:
- Cracks or fractures in the sewer pipe
- Tree root intrusions
- Sagging or “bellied” pipes
- Offset joints or misalignments
- Grease buildup and foreign obstructions
- Pipe corrosion or collapse
- Improper materials or installations
